Central Assembly Held in Dharan
A Central Committee Assembly of Nepal Kirat Kulung Bhasa Sanskriti Utthan Sangh (Kirat Kulu Guskham) held in Dharan, Sunsari on 8th August 2026 at the HeadQuarters’ Office under the chairmanship of Mr. Daulath Pidisai Kulung along with the presence of Mr. Chandra Singh Lowatti, the Coordinator of the Advisor and Directorate Committee.
The Assembly reviewed the status of the past decisions and heared the progress of the district cooordination committees. Representative from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Sunsari, Sankhuwasabha, Ilam, Morang, Jhapa read out their progress reports (financial and program). Similarly the Joint-Treasurer of Central Committee Mr. Kaman Singh Hongelu read out the financial progress report and the progress report was orated by the General Secretary, Mr. Dipendra Thoreppa.
On behalf of the Advisory and Directorate Committee(ADC), Mr. Lowatti read out the recommendations made to the Central Committee for including in the work-plan. The first 35 points of recommendations was made on 2083-3-4 (ref. ADC minute 2083-2-30) and the additional 5 points recommendations were read out in the assembly mainly concerning to (1) Documentation of language, script and culture, (2) Youth participation and use of technology, (3) Organizational improvement and transparancy, (4) Economic and Social Empowerment and (5) Policy Advocacy.
Similarly, a work plan with 13 major activities with the allocation of budget NRs. 43,98,500 for fiscal year 2083-84 was proposed by the Chairperson, Mr. Pidisai. The work-plan was unanimously approved.
Mr. Mahanta Rajitti, Advisor of the organization expressed his satisfaction to the leaders of the community to bring the organization at this level and thanked to all Kulung people.

CC Meeting and Orientation in Ilam
A Central Committee Meeting and an institutional empowerment orientation program of Nepal Kirat Kulung Bhasa Sanskriti Utthan Sangh was jointly organized on 31st January 2025 (2081-10-18), Friday in Shukrabare, Mai Municipality-4, Ilam under the chairmanship of Vice Chairperson, Mr. Daulath Pidisai Kulung. The following decisions were made by the meeting.
- District Coordination Committee needs to coordinate for conducting an orientation program at Ward Level in the municipalities to empower grass-root level Kulung peoples in which representative of Central Committee would be managed by the Committee.
- A moral pressure needs to be built up in each and every political party by the Kulung peoples engaged in the concerned parties for ensuring the political accession of the community and be united as one in common interest of the community.
- Central Executive Committee meeting would be conducted by virtual for every quarter but physical meeting would be conducted in every six months.
- A Task Force has been formed for making decision to assign right persons in Naya Nepal Pristha of Gorkhapatra for writing articles in Kulung Language. The Task Force consists Chandra Singh Kulung as a Coordinator, Ajay Alangkar Rotembu as a Co-Coordinator and Ninam Lowatti and Bibas Chheno are as the member.
- The request jointly forwarded by the Kathmandu Coordination Committee and Kulung Building Construction Committee for renting the two rooms to Sangam SACOS at the rent of NPR 7,000.00 per month has been approved for the implementation.
- As per the need to get approval from the Lalitpur District Coordination Committee to extend a branch office in Lalitpur has been decided.
- A condolence upon the death of a Central Committee Member Dilip Kumar Tomochha’s father was passed.
After the meeting an orientation program for empowering to local leaders was also conducted by the Central Executives. Followings were present in the program.

In addition Dikbir Rinho, Coordinator of Jhapa District Coordination Committee, Arati Thimra, Advisor for Sunsari District Coordination Committee and Chairman of Ward No. 2 of Mai Municipality and other local peoples were present in the program.
